With Jenna gone on the road round the world and in view of the general economic climate , we have decided to go back to only appearing as a duo for the foreseeable future. We still look forward to seeing all our friends on this years tour.

Dateline April 2008..........Paul has won the happiest table competition at California cliffs. His prize (signed for in blood!) was the plant "Mabel" which he has promised to love honour and obey!!!
In the photo gallery you can find a picture of Paul and Mabel (the first one to be awarded so far) and you can se how Mabel is growing into a fine young plant!
More Mabels will be awarded as the year progresses and hopefully they will all do as well.
In the meantime congrats to Paul for his care of Mabel no 1 and lets hope future winners will be as conscientious

So .... after a very successful season we were sad to say goodbye to Carrie who has left to pursue her previous career in Holiday centres. Obviously we wish her luck at her new park in Suffolk.
Replacing her in the continuing IN TRANSIT quest for world Domination is Jenna Saysell.......young , slim and extraordinarily attractive......(yes of course it does p*** us off ) and the few shows she has done so far have been real good. We are just starting an extensive run of dates (which are in the calendar section) and we hope to see all our friends during the year.

I can't believe it's been 5 months since I wrote anything here. We have been building up the momentum gigging and suddenly the season is about to start in earnest.
As you can see from the calendar , the year has been taken up with short runs so far but now the routes are starting to get longer......... we have just returned from four masively successful Scottish dates (6 days away .... the travelling was sh*t!!) and are now enjoying a whole evening off.
Can't wait to get back to Scotland at the end of next month.

The first gig of 2007 started out a very low key affair and ended up a rowdy night of fun and nonsense!!!
Respect to the pool room posse for winning the free drink (I told you it was cr**p!) and many thanks to all for a great night.......it made a terrific start to the year.
Don't forget to come and see us when we get back , hopefully in December.

It's official!
A very last minute call on the night before Xmas Eve and we went to play a private function..... mixed blessings.....Carrie was away and couldn't make it.....but the gig was so small she wouldn't have fit!!!!!
The events organizer told us it was small but even she couldn't foresee that it would be in a town house kitchen!!!
We have applied to the Guiness book of records under the smallest duo gig category and confidently expect to be accepted.!

Still "the show must go on" and we had a great (if totally cramped)night.
We fully expect to be appearing in a telephone booth near you soon!!!

IN TRANSIT

Okay .........so we went to the finals week at Highfield and the girls stayed on for the whole week. Needless to say much ribald merriment was had by all.......except Mike who was afflicted by man flu ( the most devasting illness known to humankind!!) and had to go home to work!! (At this point stop for an "Ahhh " of sympathy)
The weekend was crowned with an owners party gig at Waterside with good friends Roberts and Ashcroft (great cabaret) and so on to Xmas.

We are rapidly coming to the end of the summer season with a final flurry of Holiday centre dates mostly owners parties.We are also judging the national finals of the talent competitions that have been running all season.......this is great fun and of course a fantastically good excuse to get absolutely hammered with all our friends before we all go off to winter work.See you either in Clacton for finals or over the winter in the Balearics.

We have been too busy to even scratch our proverbial a****.!!!!!!
As you can see from the tour dates, we are currently running ourselves ragged around the holiday centres 'cos itn is mid summer season.....the kids go back to school soon and we calm down a bit...but then onto Xmas!!!!!!!!!!!

During July and August we were very busy and had a lot of fun........especially at some dates we did with our great friend "ELVIS himselvis" a.k.a Steve Greer.

Back home after an exhausting but fabulous weekend in Wales ........... what a fantastic and friendly place. Many thanks to Garfield at G&G Promotions for organizing all dates and the limousine to take the girls to the Ely festival. (trouble is Naz now wants one for all the gigs!!!!) Hi to Mark (Tom Jones Tribute) and thanks to all the crew at the festival for their help.Great to play to packed houses and the festival gig was really good fun. Mike,Naz and Jackson

Kylie Minogue,Jason Donovan,Rick Astley and Cindi Lauper are just some of the people who were not at the show on Saturday 3rd June. But the crowd thought they were as IN TRANSIT premiered their new 80's show at Alberta Holiday park.

Crowds thought that Carrie was trying for a new career in ballet on Saturday when she managed a spectacular trip in the second half of the show ......... was she injured ? of course not .....was the band put off? only by the laughter (mostly from them!!!)

You can see from our tour dates that we have an entry for two weeks in September.
This is imminently going to be confirmed (we hope!!) and involves two weeks in the sun playing all of three dates (oh no as much as that!!!) for a corporate function.Fingers crossed
